In June 2007, we had initially attempted to sell our townhome on our own. After several open houses and over a hundred people through, we weren't getting the quality or quantity of offers were expecting in a timely fashion. With the completion date of our new home purchase just 3 months away, we decided to list with a realtor to speed up the process. We had researched several 'discount brokers' and were on the verge of listing with one, when Michael contacted us, in the neighbourhood dealing with a unit he had recently sold. We were convinced by Michael's track record as the real estate agent with the largest number of sales in our townhome complex, his conviction that he could get us the selling price we needed, and his policy of performance-based contractual agreement.
With a detailed gameplan, Michael was able to get us quality offers and the selling price we were looking for in a shorter time than we expected. Even taking into account selling commission, with a selling price very close to a healthy list price, we were still further ahead than if we had listed with a discount broker, at a lower recommended list price. At the end of the day our 'net proceeds' exceeded our expectations by about $10,000. With the sale of our townhome behind us, we able to look forward to forward to moving into our new home!
We would recommend Michael to anyone wanting to sell their home in a timely manner for a better-than-average price.

In July 2001, my spouse and I decided that we had to expeditiously sell our condominium for a number of reasons. There was a time frame involved and we were hoping to sell our condo within 3 months. In Richmond, the market seemed saturated with condominiums and we felt we had little hope of selling for a reasonable price within such a short time.
I found Mr. Ragosin simply by an advertisement which I passed on the way to work everyday. In this case my impulse paid off. I inquired via email and he responded promptly the same evening. The next evening, he came to meet with my spouse and me. He had a market evaluation prepared already, showed it to us, and within a few days, our condo was listed for sale.
I was simply amazed at the network of colleagues Mr. Ragosin works with. We received an offer within one week after only three showings, and other offers came and went, which I found frustrating. Mr. Ragosin, however, remained calm and positive, this was a characteristic which I found extremely reliable and helpful.
We considered renting in the event we could not sell in time. Mr. Ragosin, again positive, assured us that he could act as Property Manager as well. Simply put, he was there for us in every possible way.
I had to go out of town, and during my absence, we received an offer, and Mr. Ragosin diligently worked to complete the offer as if I were in town. He went out of his way to communicate with me long distance, provided me documents to sign, and ensured that the offer which we accepted proceeded smoothly. His reliability is incredible.
I have recommended Mr. Ragosin to several friends. I highly recommend him as he is timely, prompt and readily available to answer his clients' inquiries. His confidentiality, resourcefulness and performance are, in my opinion, outstanding and completely reliable.
PS. We sold within 3 weeks, $3000.00 within our asking price.
